<p>Plato Center was an auxiliary (repeater) station on <a href="../index.html#1stTransconMW">AT&amp;T's first transcontinental microwave radio route</a>, linking <a href="../CloverdaleIL/index.html">Cloverdale</a> to the east and <a href="../LeeIL/index.html">Lee</a> to the west. By 1979, routes to <a href="../Eola_IL/index.html">Eola</a> and Wasco had been added. This <a href="PlatoCenter.xls">spreadsheet</a> shows the FCC license data for Plato Center's TD-2 (4 GHz) microwave links.</p>
<p>Plato Center's principal structure is a 103-foot Type 2C <a href="../../tech-equip/radio/concrete_towers.html">concrete tower</a>.</p>
